How You Will Make an Impact Facilities Technician will perform repair and preventative maintenance, which may include coordinating the servicing of company vehicles, buildings, grounds, and off-site properties Complete daily walk through of premises and surroundings to note conditions and report to management Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management Facilities Technician daily duties include but not limited to vacuuming, spot cleaning carpets, hanging pictures, arranging furniture, or moving as necessary waste disposal and recycling Assist in light construction projects such as drywall repairs, painting, installation of fixtures, etc. Stock janitorial closets with necessary supplies and equipment Respond appropriately to internal requests and urgent situations that arise Facilities Technician will perform installations and repairs within area of expertise including plumbing and carpentry in accordance to accepted codes Record routine inspection of fire and emergency equipment Ensure outdoor walking areas and parking lots are clean, in good repair, and free of debris Adhere to safety policies and procedures by check building management systems regularly Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team members to reach common goals Facilities Technician will assist with the shipping and receiving of products and furniture Vendor support as necessary What We Offer Amazing opportunities for career progression Dynamic, fun, entrepreneurial and diverse culture Medical (PPO or HSA) & Prescription Drug, Dental (DHMO or DPPO), Vision and Telemedicine Health and wellness are a top priority – committed to self-care 401(k) (100% match (dollar-for-dollar) up to 6% of salary deferrals) 2 Company-Wide Breaks, Summer & Winter Generous Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays Sick Time and Self-Care Days Employer Paid Life Insurance Health Savings Account (company contributes $40 bi-weekly) Voluntary Life and Dependent Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Accident, and Critical Illness Employee Assistance Program Business casual atmosphere – jeans and sneakers are okay by us What You Bring to the Table High School Diploma 2-5 years of janitorial/cleaning, drywall installation and repair, painting, furniture handling and facilities experience is required 2-3 years of experience working in manufacturing, distribution, construction and/or hospitality industry strongly preferred Must have knowledge of how to operate general maintenance equipment including but not limited to hand tools, ladders, forklift, landscaping equipment and required safety equipment Proficient working with computers, handheld devices, maintenance software and Microsoft Office knowledge (Word and Outlook) Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus but English is required EOE, DFWP
