Lost (and Found) in Translation: Poetry Workshop with James Merrill Fellow, Christopher Spaide
Merrill Fellow, Harvard scholar, critic and poet, Christopher Spaide, will lead this one-off workshop exploring found poems. Found poems are made in part, or in whole, out of found language, which the poet shapes, collages, erases, or leaves be. The group will look at a few examples from Merrill and a few living poets such as Tracy K. Smith, Natalie Shapero, and Solmaz Sharif, and try to create some found poems of their own. Please note space is limited to only 8 participants, so register now to be a part of this special opportunity: jamesmerrillhouse.org
