About this event Flash Films are our way of getting filmmakers together and cutting to the chase, filming! Our members are given a theme, put into teams, and have 6-7 weeks to complete their film. Teams are made up of individuals working together for the first time and come from all levels of experience. The goal is to get the film done, no matter what. We believe the best way to learn is to do, and this is our way of pushing for that belief. The DFA helps teams through production with follow-ups and guidance to ensure they stay on track for completion. Films that are submitted by the deadline get to screen at our Flash Film Screening. Flash Film Screenings are an organized event with all the completed productions plus Q&A from the filmmakers.
