This course is designed for all skill levels. This course is held by an Emergency Medicine Physician who has experience in thousands of laceration repairs and who has precepted for NP and PA students looking to work in acute/critical care. Class size is kept small to 20 students. Learn to suture in a stress free, relaxed and fun atmosphere. Because class size is small, you will receive personal, hands-on instruction. You will practice on a suture pad that mimics real skin. WE WILL NOT BE USING FRUIT OR ANIMAL PARTS!!!! Included in the price is a full Suture Buddy Kit (retail $69.99) that you get to take home and continue practicing everything you learned! We guarantee that you will leave the workshop knowing how to place a simple interrupted suture (at the very least). This suture type is used in ~ 90% of all laceration repairs.
