After five years of providing safe home births to hundreds of women and birthing people in the Triangle under the Sankofa Birth and Women’s Care umbrella, the team behind Aya Birth & Community Wellness is ready to further meet the demand of Durham County families by launching North Carolina's first Black midwife-led birth and wellness center. We are building this resource for the community and believe that local input is vital.
