We’re thrilled to invite you to the grand opening of The Ke’nekt Cooperative. After receiving an eviction notice for their family business, Founders of The Ke’nekt did what Black folks have done for centuries in the face of institutional and systemic harm: they worked to not just alleviate her own challenges, but to help prevent other Black entrepreneurs and community-based organizations from dealing with the disruption and displacement they had to deal with. Founders acquired a long term lease on a commercial building and founded The Ke'nekt Cooperative: a cooperative retail space for Black-owned businesses to grow and build wealth. This has been an amazing collective process and we can’t wait to share the next step of our journey with you as we OFFICIALLY OPEN.
