We also want to be present and make available the resources that are available in Big Sky when it comes to those that may need help and support moving through challenging life experiences/traumas: grief, loss, trauma, survivor’s guilt, etc. The idea is to create a safe space for individuals to open up and share and process a lot of the feelings that many have been left unattended.
Present will be Lanny Johnson FNP, PA-C based out of Jackson, WY who is a principle character in the film and former Alpine Meadows Ski Patrol. Lanny is a Wilderness Medicine Faculty Expert. Also present will be John Kudrna, Big Sky’s new Peer Support Specialist offering addiction, recovery, and support services in our community. John was also an employee and part of the Search & Rescue during the 1982 Alpine Meadows Avalanche.
