The land is marked on the first plat of Independence, and the building was visited by the 33rd president of the United States, Harry S. Truman. During the initial investigations of the building, people saw shadows, heard knocking, experienced energy spikes, and a voice was heard over the spirit box. You'll have the opportunity to investigate the property with a local paranormal group, Omega Paranormal KC. They will provide their gear and expertise for the investigation.
