This event is organized by mnlatinos.com to promote the arts in the Latino community as well as to recognize Latino artists while creating a fun experience that combines art, music, and food. We are collaborating with brilliant individuals and caring organizations to create this unique experience. 100% of art sales from this event go to the artist. As part of the holidays celebration we are collecting toys at this event to donate to Latino families for Christmas. Please consider bringing a toy for donation. Raised in Tijuana, Mexico. He is the founder of UNO Branding a multicultural, strategic visual communication agency. As a trans-disciplinary artist that specializes in non-commercial and commercial art design work for both urban and gallery art settings, he explores cross-cultural issues in multiple mediums including: traditional Mexican paper cutting, silkscreen, traditional and digital illustration, mixed-media painting on canvas and on recycle corrugated boxes, wheat paste and urban art installations. Jimmy Longoria’s unique and signature painting style is recognized for its dazzling color, contrast and multiple layers created with hundreds if not thousands of brush strokes. Jimmy was born and raised in South Texas, of Mexican descent. Jimmy’s art hangs in the offices or homes of United States Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor; Former United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Julian Castro; Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison; former United States Representative Luis Gutierrez; actor and Chicano Art collector Cheech Marin; and prominent state Senators and Representatives at the Minnesota State Capitol in Saint Paul, as well as in museums, schools, private and corporate collections including 3M and Target. She moved to Minnesota in 2021, her art has been featured at the CLUES gallery, La Doña Cerveceria, and more than 9 art fairs in Minnesota. Yunior Romero is a talented and versatile musician from Cuba. He will be playing his Saxophone for us this evening. Amalia Moreno-Damgaard is a Guatemala native, business leader, multi-award-winning author, and chef entrepreneur with a prior executive career in international banking. She has authored two books, Amalia’s Guatemalan Kitchen – Gourmet Cuisine with a Cultural Flair and Amalia’s Mesoamerican Table – Ancient Culinary Traditions with Gourmet Infusions.
