In honor of her life and legacy, the Southern Youth Leadership Development Institute (SYLDI) will host Mrs. Rosa L. Parks' Awards Gala. Join us on Saturday, December 3, 2022, for this FORMAL IN-PERSON EVENT filled with networking, entertainment, and recognition celebrating civil rights activist Rosa Parks. Founded in 2004 by civil rights leader Doris Crenshaw, the SYLDI works to train the next generation of leaders and activists. With your support, we will be able to expand the progress we have achieved for more than 17 years. The expansion of our programs throughout Alabama will include live, in-person events, travel stipends, and additional expenses to maintain a viable organization.
