Join the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy and Michigan Central for a sneak peek of the Southwest Greenway on Wednesday, November 16 from 4-7PM at Bagley Mobility Hub -2209 Bagley Street, Detroit, MI 48216. Enjoy free hot chocolate, tacos, churros and the opportunity to see all the progress connecting the riverfront to the Corktown, Hubbard Richard and Southwest Detroit neighborhoods.​ The Conservancy will provide a first look at the progress of the Southwest Greenway set to open this winter. The Southwest Greenway is a non-motorized below-grade trail running from the future Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Centennial Park on Jefferson to Bagley Street and the Michigan Central site. Additionally, learn more about what's underway at Michigan Central as the team previews the some of the ongoing work and celebrates the community's continued involvement. Guests are welcome to walk, bike, or drive with parking provided by Michigan Central at the Bagley Mobility Hub - 1501 Wabash St. This event is free and open to the public, with giveaways for our first 200 guests. Event Details:  When: 4-7PM Wednesday, November 16 Where: The Southwest Greenway Bagley Trailhead located at 2209 Bagley Street (The corner of Bagley and 14th Street) What: Take your first look at the greenway while enjoying hot chocolate & churros and hear brief remarks from Nate Wallace, Head of Civic Partnerships, and Clarinda Barnett-Harrison, Director, Skills, at Michigan Central, and Mark Wallace, President and CEO of the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy at 5PM.
