Painter & Laborer We are a growing Commercial General Contractor working in the Chicagoland Area. Our projects include interior renovations of retail, restaurant, offices, warehouses, and manufacturing facilities. We self-perform painting for our own projects. Since we self-perform we are looking for someone to be a painter and complete other construction duties such as labor, cleaning and miscellaneous carpentry. You may be on a project for more than just painting. The work will most likely be broken down to 50% painting and 50% other work. Responsibilities include: - Painting of commercial spaces (this includes spraying, brushing & rolling). - Staining of wood and applying clear coats. - Wall preparation including taping, patching, sanding etc. - Obtaining painting materials. Other Duties include: - Construction demolition. - Construction job site cleaning. - Assisting skilled trades workers with basic construction tasks. Candidates must have their own vehicle, good driving record, exhibit good attention to detail, have a good work ethic, be extremely reliable, and a willingness to learn new skills on jobs sites. You must be a team player and willing to take direction. This is a non-union, full-time position with a fast-growing company with opportunity for career development.
