Guitarist looking for alternative/ indie/ punk musicians

Looking to have fun playing music with like minded people. From Britpop and Shoegaze, indie, punk, ska, and even some gypsy jazz, Celtic, French, and German music from my time living overseas Specific Influences include: Iron and Wine, Jawbreaker, or just The Wonder Stuff, The Joy Formidable, Slow Crush, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, Dinosaur Jr., Stereophonics, Neds Atomic Dustbin, The Pixies, The Decemberists, Death Cab for Cutie, Sufjan Stevens, Bad Religion, Fugazi, Minor Threat, The Smiths, The Stone Roses, Nirvana, Green Day, Blink 182, Poi Dog Pondering, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Cure, New Order, My Bloody Valentine, Ride, Catherine Wheel, Dropkick Murphy’s, Silbermond, Tryo (French acoustic ska Caribbean type rhythm) to name a few. Styles I am not really interested in playing: rap, country, classic rock. I am in the burbs but other groups I have played with were in Chicago and can quickly be in Chicago. Covid threw a monkey wrench into my old group. Some members made new life choices that changed work and locations. Presently working on a 2 person acoustic set with my former drummer who is actually a great singer. We could expand that project or build something new.
