ELGIN, IL — An Elgin police detective is facing DUI charges after her arrest Sunday night following a traffic stop, according to reports. A Kane County deputy pulled over Jessica DeLeon around 11 p.m. Sunday for speeding in Campton Hills, the Daily Herald reports. She got out of her vehicle after being asked to do so five times, then struggled to walk, according to the report. DeLeon, 43, refused to take field sobriety tests but later admitted she had "one drink," the Daily Herald reports. She was uncooperative with Kane County jail staff after being charged with DUI and speeding, the report states.
