We are currently hiring skilled carpenters with new construction and/or extensive renovation/remodeling experience. Required Carpentry Skills: -New construction multi-story framing experience - 2 years -Perform all carpentry tasks consistently and efficiently with little supervision -Lay out wall plates and accurately size windows and doors -Able to verify walls are square, level, and plumb -Maintains clean framing (e.g. blocking is consistently sized and aligned, etc.) -Able to properly flash door and window openings -Able to properly install new doors and windows -Able to layout and cut stair stringers -Able to cut rafters -Able to hang interior doors -Properly preassemble interior trim with tight, glued joints Expectations/ Responsibilities: -Proficient in rough framing/finish carpentry conventions; -Has basic understanding of other trades -Can complete tasks with minimal supervision -Has ability to complete tasks efficiently and to expected standards of quality and artisanship -Attention to detail -Ability to direct CH -Has some ability to read and understand construction drawings -Able to self-start using available resources -Able to troubleshoot solutions prior to engaging Lead -Has good communication and asks questions Required Tools: -Has own tool bags -All necessary hand tools for framing/finish carpentry including drill/impact driver -Circular saw is plus Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel throughout triangle.
