Description

We regret to need to rehome our 9 month old approximately 50lbs Aussie, but despite our research of the breed beforehand our family just is not a good fit for this girl. She needs to be with someone with an active lifestyle and plenty of time/money to devote to training. Preferably someone with breed experience and/or a small farm where she can be given a job to do. She's a blue merle...her breeder felt she might be a dilute blue merle and her coat is medium in length, not the typical long coats you see. She's presently not fixed as we were waiting for her to grow fully as advised by our vet. Dewclaws removed and tail docked. Crate and house trained. She's a good girl with some behavior that needs to be reigned in and some that just needs to be redirected and put to good use. She gets along great with our German Shepherd, but plays very aggressively. She's not well socialized with people or animals outside of our home and comes across as fearful. She's never shown any sort of aggression. Great with our kids, but I would not recommend a home with small children as she will plow them down playing and not be apologetic. Very loyal gal who wants to be as close to her humans as possible when you're home. Small rehoming fee to ensure a good home. She's up to date on shots withno health issues, but has developed a hygroma on one of her elbows. Vet reference required. She will come with her crate, bowls, harness, and leash.
