The Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram is looking for Independent Contractors for Early Morning Newspaper Delivery in the areas listed below. To get started, please respond to this ad with your name, phone number and town that you live in or would be interested in delivering to from the list below: Standish/Sebago/Bridgton West Bath- Woolwich/Georgetown Saco/Old Orchard Beach Biddeford/Arundel/Lyman/Dayton South Portland Portland Scarborough Westbrook Yarmouth Our Routes are 6 days a week (No Mondays) during the very early morning hours which gives you the ability to make extra money while still having a full or part-time day job. Papers are available around 130AM daily and 1230AM Sunday with all deliveries needing to be made by 6am Tuesday-Saturday and 730am on Sunday. Independent Contractors are compensated bi-weekly. We offer 30/60/90 day sign-on bonuses and referral bonuses to recruit additional contractors. The current sign-on bonus is up to $1000 depending on the route. The only requirements for this position are a Valid Driver’s License, Reliable Vehicle and Vehicle Insurance. You must also be 18 to apply.
