Fenway Studios is accessed by Green Line/Hynes & MBTA bus #1, or by car for on-street parking. We are a Federal Historic Building that has housed 46 fine arts painters since 1905. I am one member in studio 210 that is able to share one-third of artist space and quality kitchen/bath/lounge, work tables books & materials. My studio is the smallest of four sizes, being 600 sq. ft. Fenway Studios includes a non-profit gallery and Open Studios. IF chosen, you must make application to join the Fenway List. This one-third Share is a rental arrangement with this artist-member of Fenway Studios. I am making the price of $350 a third of my costs. There is an increase of $25 a year. The selected artist must have education and experience in fine art oil painting. There is no discrimination otherwise in the selection except for my judgment of a compatible artist's skills and methods. The space is the east side of North Light windows 10'x12', in a 10'x10' area with 12'x12' exhibition wall. The studio was fully renovated in 2012, and must be kept clean and orderly. The studio includes useful furnishings of a painter's cabinet, work table, stand and stool. The window has shades and shelves. The space may be warm all seasons; there is no air-conditioning. Use of solvents must not be toxic. Applicants are to contact me by e-mail under heading 'Fenway Studio Share', so that I can respond. Please outline your education and/or experience with a sample of your current art production or website. I will make phone interviews, possibly followed by studio visit. Occupancy would begin in January 2023, and rent payments are in three month sums ($1050). There will be a review every three months of mutual satisfaction and departure if unpaid.
