Rock Singer/Songwriter Looking for Band

Hello hello! My name is Carrie and I’m a singer/songwriter (/a very basic rhythm guitarist) looking to put together a band in D.C.! I am looking for people who can collaborate to enhance my songs. I’m linking a google drive below with some videos from a show I did in July with a guitarist featuring 3 original songs and 1 cover and my SoundCloud. This is my general sound, but I want to build a cohesive sound with a band. I am extremely open to reworking songs and believe collaboration is the best way to enhance songs and get new ideas. Looking to rock things up a bit more and am currently feeling extremely inspired by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs! Ideally, I would love a guitarist, bassist, and drummer. Willing to start with just a guitarist as we figure out our sound and what direction we want to go in. Also ideally, I would love someone who could harmonize with me. I do have a full-time 9-5 job but am looking to take this very seriously (in a Fun Way) and get out there with our music as soon as we can!
