We specialize in being a full-service provider of pipe transportation, pipe storage, and pipe logistics services. W.M. Dewey has an immediate opening for a dependable safety-oriented Facilities Maintenance Helper. Who is willing to grow in knowledge and increase their responsibilities in the workplace. Duties: Landscaping duties around yards (operation of lawn equipment) Perform general maintenance around the yard, shops, and office (general electrical and plumbing) Maintain shop floors for cleanliness in and around machines, tools, and equipment Operate a forklift Assist Diesel Mechanics in the shop as needed (Working on tires, LG Trucks, Forklifts, Small Lawn Equipment, Etc....) Order and keep an inventory of all parts (some driving required) Make runs in a company vehicle, delivering paperwork and or parts to yards and shops (driving required) Qualifications: Must Have A Valid Drivers License Clean Driving Record Pass background check Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time Must have reliable transportation to and from work Being bilingual (Spanish and English) is a plus but not required Job Type: Full-time Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental Insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 10-hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Weekend availability Ability to commute/relocate: Houston, TX 77029: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (Must Have) Work Location: One location
