Participants will be guided through the process of needle felting festive holiday earrings!See what the all the rage is about- needle felting is fast becoming a popular art form for experienced artists and creators, as well as for those who don't consider themselves creative. During this workshop, we'll cover the basics of 2-d needle felting including molding, sculpting, shaping, attaching, blending, and more, as well as some basic jewelry making methods. Choose from several festive earrings to make: Candycanes, Stars of David, snowflakes, santa hats, dreidels, Christmas/Yule tree, stars, mittens, menorahs, gingerbread people, ornament (round) and stocking. Each participant will make one pair of holiday earrings. Easy to learn and so much fun! All materials provided. The Salty Owl Studio is located on the second floor (up 2 flights of stairs) in an historic building. Please reach out prior to the workshop if you need accommodations. This workshop is designed for people ages 9 and up, and requires fine motor skills and dexterity that may be a challenge for some younger kiddos.
