Join our fly-tying experts and learn how to tie some of the most effective flies for both salt- and freshwater. Classes will be held on Wednesday evenings with Session 1 beginning November 9, 2022 and ending January 18, 2023. (There will be no class on November 23 or December 28.) Session 2 begins January 25 and ends March 22, 2023. NEW! Each night we are offering a Beginner Class from 5-6:30pm followed by an Intermediate Class from 7-8:30pm. Please do not sign up for both. Session 2 will be a repeat of Session 1, allowing students to graduate from beginner to intermediate level or repeat a session. WEEK 2 Intermediate Bugzilla-Foam Bodied Terrestrials. Mallard's Bugzilla is a Chernobyl Ant-like pattern that employs a unique six leg design that adds action while helping it float better. This is a great imitation for a grasshopper or adult golden stonefly.
