Young male Great Pyrenees

Description

He was a stray that someone found and decided to take in temporarily. They were just keeping him tied up outside all the time. He kept getting loose and going to the neighbors and killed one of their chickens. The neighbor threatened to shoot him if he gets loose again. They were desperate to find someone to take care of him so I went and got him today. He’s so sweet and loves people. He’s good with other dogs. He was obviously neglected. He is a little skinny and had worms and spots all over from tick bites. He was filthy and matted. He’s currently being treated for the worms and ticks. We are getting him cleaned up and healthy again. Idk if he’s been vaccinated but I have an appointment for next week to get it done. I would guess that he’s been an outside dog but he seems to do well inside. He hasn’t been destructive inside at all so far. He hasn’t been destructive when left in the backyard either. He’s been pretty chill. He’s between 60-70 pounds I would guess and probably under 8 months. I’m not sure if he’s 100 percent Pyrenees or not but he does have the double dewclaws. He gets along with my other Great Pyrenees puppy. The people who found him said he does well with little kids and large livestock. The problem isn’t this dog it’s my Saint Bernard who is acting very aggressive towards him and tries to go after him whenever he sees him so I have to keep them separated so unfortunately I can’t keep him. Apparently my Saint is only good with dogs he met as small puppies. He would make such a good pet and I would love to keep him forever but unfortunately my other dog is an asshole and I can’t trust him around this guy. He loves getting attention from people and likes playing with toys and getting belly scratches. I don’t know what his previous name was but I’ve been calling him Ollie. The people who found him scanned him for a chip and didn’t find anything. Let me know if you’re interested in this sweet boy!
