High Hopes for Fentanyl Awareness is a fundraiser event in memory of Alec John Friedlander. Alec was a son, brother, and a friend to so many, and was taken far too soon. In an effort prevent such things from happening to others, we hope to raise funds to not only bring awareness to Fentanyl, but to actively fight this opioid crisis. The goal of this fundraising effort is to bring specific, targeted Fentanyl response and awareness by means of Narcan training and distribution. We are currently working toward making Narcan vending machines easily accessible in the city of Buffalo. We are so excited to hold High Hopes for Fentanyl Awareness at Jack Rabbit Bar and Restaurant in Buffalo. Alec would have loved nothing more than all of his best people, in one of his favorite spaces, sharing drinks in his honor for such an important cause. Please join us to do just that. Your ticket covers the cost of the space and food. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to groups in Buffalo fighting to keep our community safe in the fight against fentanyl.
