About the Program: Animals are skillful architects—from beehives to birds’ nests, animals create spaces best fit for their needs. But now, they’re moving into the big city! We will dive into the relationship between architects and their clients, as kids choose their favorite animal and design an apartment based on its needs! Does a giraffe need an apartment with tall ceilings? Kids will use their imaginations to design homes for animal families (like an urban Noah's Arc!) while considering accessibility, health, and views. Recommended for ages 4-8. RSVP required. Program & Registration Details: This is an in-person program that meets at the Skyscraper Museum, 39 Battery Pl. Masks are required for indoor programs. You must reserve a place for your child/family through the Eventbrite button. After registering, you will receive emails to confirm your attendance through a Google Form. If you do not confirm attendance by the Friday morning before the program, your places will be canceled. Every child should be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Family programs are free!
