For all School Board Members Please join us for a full day training on Effective Governance for your school board,  presented by the California School Board Association (CSBA). The goals of the governance conversation include: Understanding roles and responsibilitiesBeing an effective trusteeBuilding an effective governance teamUnderstanding the Board's roleThis workshop will be facilitated by Luan Burman Rivera, CSBA Governance Educator/Consultant. Luan Burman Rivera served as a board member of the Ramona Unified School District in San Diego County for 16 years and is a past president of the California School Boards Association. Please park at the rear parking lot of the Lake County Office of Education Lakeport Main Street Office. Continental breakfast will be served at 8:30 am. Lunch will also be served.
