The Texas Witches’ Ball has claimed a space within the liminal time of the Winter Solstice, also known as Yule or Jul in Viking and Norse traditions. Starting on the Winter Solstice, the period of Yule/Jul would stretch for 12 days. This is a time to gather, raise a toast, and celebrate the blessings from the gods. The smell of pine and honey mead will bring joy and warmth as we gather once more! We have endeavored to capture a bit of this energy and cast a circle of magic with you once again. Enjoy festive music, rune readers, story time with “Floki,” and be enchanted by the beauty and strength of the Valkyrie. Catch a glimpse of Odin and Freya! Our VIP guests will enjoy early entry at 8pm, receive a Gift from the Gods, and can adventure into another realm and attempt to Escape the Norns!** This event is a private ticketed event for guests ages 18+. There will be a bar and special entertainment. The dress code is Yuletide Festive, Viking celebration, and Holiday Fun. (**Please be advised: the Escape from the Norns experience is NOT handicap accessible as it is in the upstairs room) Collaborating with vendors and local crafters is important to us. However, due to the space limitations at this venue, we are unable to have traditional vendor booths. Instead, we have partnered up with vendors and businesses to craft special themed boxes for purchase. The Witches’ Ball presents: Treasures of the Dwarves! In Norse mythology, there are four dwarves that were designated to hold up the sky of Midgard: Sudri, Austri, Nordri, and Vestri. Each treasure box will contain 4 custom and uniquely crafted items that align with each dwarf and elemental focus. Quantities will be limited. You can pre-purchase your box now with your tickets to secure your treasure and pick up the night of the soiree. Remaining boxes will be available for purchase at the event!
