Participants will have the opportunity to design and make a quilt panel to honor those who’ve been affected by HIV/AIDS. OCP will provide all supplies and materials, and the OCP Costume Shop will assemble the quilt that will be use in our upcoming production of “Rent” scheduled to run February 10th – March 19th.
Please note:
• Depending on the response received and number of panels created we may not be able to fit them all onto the actual quilt. We will make every effort to display any remaining swatches in the lobby area throughout the run of the production.
• When designing your panel, we request that you steer clear of any expletives and encourage you to use messages of power or strength to uplift the memory of people fighting HIV/AIDS.
• If you are a more skilled sewers/quilters/crafters and would like to make your piece on your own and bring it to us, you panel will need to be 12 inches x 24 inches, light weight fabric and flat (no three-dimensional panels). Your panel must be received no later than December 10th at 3:00 pm.
• Swatches may not be returned after the production closes.
• OCP reserves editorial authority and the right to approve final submissions
