This is not your average storytime! Playful Storytime is a FREE interactive read aloud session lead by pediatric speech-language pathologist, Kelsey Martin, the owner of Playful Communication. Kelsey uses visuals, props, movement, and an energetic spirit to engage listeners and help kiddos of all abilities follow along. After the reading, our friends enjoy sensory, gross motor, fine motor, and/or teamwork activities that bring the story to life and help build those social and communication skills. This is a fun and playful small group experience designed with all abilities in mind! Sitting and being quiet is not required or expected. Our listeners are free to move and groove as they need to throughout our time together. Registration is required and spots are limited to keep this small, safe, and supportive. We can't wait to play with you! LOCATION: The Atrium Health Waxhaw Community Room PARKING: Park to the left of the emergency room. You will see the community room entrance from there.
