Student Athletics Foundation (“SAF”) and Kansas City Royals Urban Youth Academy (“UYA”)have partnered to bring you the Clinic Series at Kansas City (“Clinic”) to build the community of softball beyond the limits of the Kansas City Metro area. This event will allow individuals the opportunity to work with College Coaches and instructors with years of experience, allowing a new generation of dreamers to see themselves represented on the big stage. The clinics are designed to make the student-athlete a better player. This Camp is for current 6th – 12th graders. The Camp is designed for softball student-athletes who have interest in competing at the collegiate level by showcasing their skills through drill evaluations. Players will be evaluated at their primary defensive position. The camp will feature instructional assistance from current College Coaches and other experienced instructional coaches. Coaches are here to provide a high level of teaching, providing feedback during the drills, and provide insight on how to improve. The player-to-coach ratio will not exceed 12:1.
