Jobs
Thibodaux LA
Description
First, Terms & Conditions: I'm looking for a handy-man to do a few things - it pays $150. (I wish I could pay more.) Job takes place at a vacant property in Thibodaux. I cannot accompany you. There is a lockbox. I will provide you with a code. BUT I'll need you to send me your ID, & a selfie, from YOUR cellphone. Cellphone must be in your name, because it is used to pull a criminal background check. (So no burner phones, etc) (You don't have to pay for the background - it's a monthly service I subscribe to) You'll need to sign a hold-harmless electronically on DocHub.( It's pretty simple.) I don't have insurance to cover you if you hurt yourself. Bring someone with you, or notify your ol' lady, or somethin. But don't injure yourself. It'll make me feel real bad, and I have no money to compensate you for injury, and I simply cannot be the one to explain to ya momma what you were doing when you cracked your head open all by yourself, falling off my house. I just can't. The JOB: I'm managing a vacant home that was damaged in IDA, and we are getting it ready for the market. 1) There is a big chunk of roofing material from IDA on the **carport roof** that needs to be tossed down, and thrown away - At a dump because there is no trash pickup at the property currently. When you get there, you'll see what side of the carport is safe to walk on, and what side is not. Don't test for a grey area on this, please. (I've attached photos of the debris to be removed) 2) Bring a push broom WITH YOU, and sweep the interior floors of debris. Sheetrock has come off certain areas, no need to do anything but broom-sweep the floors and get up any sheet-rock. 3) The upstairs room has a mess of plastic sheeting, and wood trim. You can do what you see fit with the plastic - it's new, 6 mil contractor grade, and I'm pretty sure there's a giant piece or 2 left there. (you can toss it if you don't have any use for it) The woodtrim, just needs to be put in one place, all together, and left upstairs.. (It's not a lot.) 4) Gather up any man-made debris that may be littering the yard - probably some shingles in the back yard for sure, and any plastic. ** Document work with clear BEFORE and AFTER photos of all 4 tasks, and send it to me. ~ Get paid right then.~ ** If you don't send photos, you won't get paid until I show up there again - and I don't know when that will be exactly. The 4 tasks collectively pays $150. You can access the carport roof from the {{[SIDE] window - upstairs.}} (That means not a back window, & not a front window.) (Or bring a ladder if you're feeling fancy.)
