Join us for this festive tradition of setting up and decorating the Salvation Army Angel Tree Donation Center for the busy holiday season. Up to 100 youth volunteers (ages 13-18) will be needed to set up the well-over 1000 Angel Tree family collection boxes and assembly area where volunteers will sort and deliver Angel Tree toy donations throughout the season. This time-consuming task used to fall to already-overwhelmed staff or a handful of volunteers and took many weeks. Since YouthServe began assisting with the set up, it now only takes a few hours! Volunteers will also assist in decorating the area with festive art and cheerful banners. A pizza lunch will be served to volunteers at the end of the shift. *Note - venue is located in the BACK of the strip mall directly across from the Amazon Distribution Center on Crestwood Boulevard. We will be in the space all the way at the end. There should be plenty of parking just outside the location for those who are driving. Look for the YouthServe signs. Staff will be on-site by 8:30.
