Kickstart the holiday season and join us at Books & Mortar for a casual networking opportunity where you can enjoy a great cup of coffee, even better conversation, and browse the shelves to find the perfect holiday gift! The Local First Coffee Hour events are a casual opportunity to connect with member businesses, hear about our upcoming programs, and learn how to build an economy that puts people first. We host them monthly with the support of Bloom Credit Union. Host highlight: Books & Mortar is Grand Rapids' proudly progressive, consciously curated, and fiercely independent neighborhood bookstore. They carry an intentional variety of books, gifts, stationary, and locally sourced products. We encourage you to shop while you sip! Safety expectations: We’d like to continue meeting monthly, in-person for our Coffee Hour events. To safely do so, event attendees are expected to adhere to current CDC recommendations: When indoors, masks remain on unless actively eating or drinkingMaintaining 6 feet of social distance between guests and/or respecting the color-coded comfort zone stickers provided to all guests by PFEAdhering to frequent hand-washing and sanitizing practicesLocal First will also provide hand sanitizer.
