Looking for someone who would be interested in cleaning a beautiful 4 bed/4.5 bath vacation rental in North Asheville. Once you have it down, it takes about 6 hours to clean plus about another half hour per clean hauling used sheets & towels to a laundromat to have them washed & folded as well as picking up the clean towels/sheets from the laundromat before cleaning. Pay is $185-225/clean. So it works out to $25-$34/hr. It typically needs to be cleaned about 4-6 times/month. A couple difficult things about it: 1) The schedule is random. You will have the reservation calendar to look ahead and see when guests check out and check in but it could be any day of the week. And it could be on a weekend. Sometimes a guest checks out in the morning and another checks in the same afternoon. On those days the cleaning must take place between 10am (checkout time) and 4pm (checkin time). Otherwise you have all the time in between guests which could be a few days. 2) It's very physical. The cleaning is physical. There's also about 40-50lbs of sheets/towels to haul up and down stairs and in and out of the laundromat. Also, the trash must be hauled away. The guests usually make 5-8 kitchen trash bags worth which will fit into 2 contractor bags which you will put in your car and haul away. (So your car must be big enough to fit cleaning supplies plus 2 full contractor bags. So the pay is very good, but I know this schedule can't work for most people.
