Bonhams Skinner is seeking a Retoucher to join our Marlborough, MA based Photography department. Reporting to the Lead Photographer, you will perform all file management, execute post-production Photoshop work and upload images to company database. Key Tasks and Responsibilities • Retouch images and review photographs for quality & consistency • Send and receive files to third party for processing • Process and manage files, upload files to company database • Troubleshoot technical problems • Operate copy stand to digitize 2D art In addition to the tasks and responsibilities listed, you may be required to perform other duties as assigned by your manager. Requirements & Qualifications • Be a proactive self-starter able to manage a high-volume workflow from many different departments simultaneously. • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop • Proficiency with Mac platforms and file management systems • Ability to juggle multiple projects with meticulous attention to detail • Ability to prioritize and adhere to fast deadlines • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships • Must have a positive attitude and be a team player About the Company Based in Massachusetts, Bonhams Skinner holds around 80 sales a year in 20 collecting categories including Americana, Fine Art and Collectibles, and Wine, and ranging from fine violins to contemporary paintings.
