Intermodal rail and trucking terminal seeks a general maintenance worker with the ability to perform a variety of different tasks. Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Duties include maintenance of grounds, recording ocean containers arriving and departing, locking and unlocking containers on or off rail cars, general terminal and shop clean-up, pressure washing interiors of containers, and occasionally load and unloading trailers. No experience is necessary other than being reliable with a good work ethic. Opportunity for the right person to be trained and promoted into more skilled positions. Position offers starting pay at $17 per hour with regularly scheduled increases, 1½ pay after 40 hours, full benefits including vacation, paid sick leave & personal days, company-paid health care, and 401k plan.
