Hello! The non-profit Code For America () is partnering with the Connecticut SNAP program to better understand how people get information on food stamps. We’re looking for people to talk to us for 1-hour online or phone during the week of November 14th. Your participation will not change or have any impact on the SNAP benefits you get. If you are picked, we are happy to find a time that works best for you including in the evenings. To qualify for this research project, you must be: * Currently receiving food stamps (SNAP), OR have previously received SNAP for one year or more in in the state of Connecticut. * Over the age of 18. * Able to speak on the phone OR access a computer for a 1 hour interview over Zoom, where we will ask you for opinion on messages about food stamps. As a thank-you for your time at the end of the interview, you will receive $50 (through PayPal, Venmo or a Visa gift card). Interested?
