Description

This position will be responsible but not limited to picking parts and moving materials to facilitate production and warehouse inventory control. • Obtain product from warehouse locations to fulfill orders, accurately verifying information and quantities • Package and prepare all items for shipment with appropriate packaging materials to meet quality and productivity standards • Notify Supervisor when discrepancies occur • Lift and move heavy items as required • Transport product with pallet jack or fork lift • Operate shrink wrap machine • Process orders with FedEx, UPS and other shipping software • Collaborate with other team associates while simultaneously developing a team environment • Follow detailed instructions, processes, and procedures • Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements • Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and defective/questionable materials to Supervisor • Provide hands-on job function training to co-workers and new associates as needed • Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies needed to accomplish job results • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition to facilitate manufacturing functions, and follow safety regulations • Complete tasks as directed with minimum supervision • Perform other duties and assignments as requested
