Press release from the City of Twinsburg: January 08, 2021 Dog owners must license their pets by January 31, 2021, or face an $18 late fee. Licenses are required for dogs three months and older. A one-year license is $18, a three-year license is $54 and a permanent license is $180. "The purchase of a dog license is extremely important in providing for the care of lost and abandoned animals at the County's Animal Control Facility," said County Executive Ilene Shapiro in a news release. "If your dog is ever lost and taken to the facility, a dog license will quickly identify you as the owner, and the income we receive from license sales is used to feed and provide medical care to your dog."
