Join the Gum Springs Historical Society and Museum, and The Mount Vernon Ladies Association, for an enchanting evening as we celebrate the Founders, and Early Community Leaders of the Historic Community of Gum Springs, Fairfax County Virginia, 1833. Gum Springs is the oldest Historically African American Community in Fairfax County. Special guest speaker is Gary L. Flowers, world human rights, civil right activist. For 35 years Gary Flowers has affected civil rights in the United States and human rights around the world by advocating on behalf of the downtrodden and dispossed.
