Get creative and give creative at this artistic shopping eventDowntown Delaware’s Gallery 22 will host their Holiday Art Fair for extended weekends from November 4 through December 17, 2022. More than 60 artists will show and sell one-of-a-kind works in fine arts and crafts at this annual event. Items for show and sale throughout the gallery will include handmade jewelry, fine woven garments, hand crafted wood pieces, functional stoneware and raku pottery, stained glass, handmade quilts, mixed media, paintings, photography and much more. It’s the perfect place to pick up a wide variety of gift-able works of art, just in time for the holiday season. “The Holiday Art Fair is special because it showcases such a wide variety of work from so many highly skilled artists, all from Delaware and surrounding areas,” said event manager Doug Wilson. “Here you can be inspired as well as find a special gift or something unique for your home.” Wilson continued, “The Art Fair is a great opportunity for visitors to enjoy a great art event in the heart of downtown Delaware.” Gallery 22 is located at 22 E Winter Street, next door to the historic Strand Theatre and near many restaurants and shops. Beginning Friday, November 4 the gallery will be a treasure trove of gifts for seven weekends, Thursday - Sunday, with the final day December 17. Extended hours are offered throughout the event as follows: Thursday 12-5, Friday and Saturday from 12-8:30 and Sunday from 12-4. Gallery 22 is a gallery and retail space managed by the Delaware Cultural Arts Center, a non-profit organization that nurtures the creative arts in Delaware County. It is more widely known as The Arts Castle, and recognized as one of Ohio’s premier community teaching centers for the arts.
