Intro to TURI: Supporting healthier businesses & communities

This event will introduce TURI -- the Toxics Use Reduction Institute -- to community stakeholders, including businesses, schools, municipalities and non-profits, among others. FOr over 30 years, TURI has worked with closely businesses of all sizes in Massachusetts to help them adopt safer chemicals, preventing pollution and protecting the health of workers and other community members. Legislators and representatives from TURI will discuss how the Institute can, through both financial and technical assistance, create healthier conditions in Central MA. Following a breif presentation, TURI will answer questions about the support it provides and looks forward to hearing from community members about the challenges they face.
