6 year old Carolina Dog

Sunny is a 6 year old Carolina dog. He knows how to sit, stay, come, and shake. I am needing to rehome him due to my work schedule, he does not do well for long periods on his own because he has separation anxiety. He would do well with someone that is home often, or can come home on break periods to take him outside. He is a very good dog, he is happy and high energy. He is not good with high energy kids, and can be apprehensive of some strangers until he gets to know them. If you play fetch with him or offer him some food(like a hot dog) he'll like you pretty quick. I am having trouble finding a home for him, and the person he is with right now is unable to keep him. The humane society was unable to take him because of his breed. He is not currently up to date on his shots.
