December Local Scholarship Party: Celebrating our Superhero Students

ProgramRobin McFarland, Cabrillo College Interim VP of Instruction will be helping us celebrate our fabulous local students. To add to the fun, Graphic Artist and instructor, Tess Powell will help us each develop and draw a character highlighting our own Superpowers. We will have the supplies and prompts to guide you. The event entry fee, contributions, and merchandise proceeds will strengthen our Local Scholarships Fund. Fabulous, fancy winter desserts and coffee/tea will be served. Local Scholarships AAUW awards scholarships to students at Cabrillo College and the University of California, Santa Cruz each year. We awarded $9,905 to 18 women in 2022. Raffle FundraiserWe are raffling off a beautiful handmade quilt by President Mary Rippa. The winner's name will be drawn at the party. Tickets are available by mail now and at the event before the drawing. The winner of the AAUW Quilt will be drawn at the party. You do not need to be present to win. The price is $20 for a packet of 30 chances.
