RAISE A TOAST TO 2023 ON SAN FRANCISCO BAY this New Year's Eve with your family, your friends and our other guests and get that private yachting experience aboard a modern 65ft boat. Your relaxing cruise will glide past the San Francisco city waterfront lights and the Bay islands - Alcatraz, Angel Island and Tiburon heading out to the Golden Gate bridge aboard the Derek M. Baylis. Then prepare to get up close to enjoy the famous San Francisco NYE fireworks show from the water!   What to Expect:  This is our most famous event of the year, so we make it special with great trays of excellent hors d'oevres, beer, wine, non-alcoholic drinks and water - freeing you up to relax, to enjoy the company and marvel at the world-famous San Francisco Bay fireworks show.  The duration of the cruise is 3 hours. NOTE: Everyone will be carded. Consumption of alcohol under 21 is not allowed. When: December 31st, 2022 January 1st, 2023 Time: Pick-up: 9:30pm at the Bike Hut on Pier 40             Drop off: After the Fireworks at Pier 40. There are 3 ticket prices.  All are for the same package, but if you sign up early the price is lower. What to Bring:   Warm layered clothes; comfortable, non skid shoes - no pumps; your camera for the memories; party hats and noise makers. In case you do not know:  Your ticket for the cruise on the Sailing Research Vessel, the Derek M. Baylis, goes towards supporting the cost of doing sustainable marine research along the California coast, as well as the education of youths in the marine sciences and the challenges facing the oceans. There is no minimum age to come on the sail, but you must be 21 years old to drink alcohol.  This is a California state requirement and we enforce it or we lose our license.   What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? There are a few parking garages nearby, but we suggest coming by public transportation or ride share   What's the refund policy? No refunds after November 30th, 2022. We have no control over the San Francisco Fireworks, so we do not refund tickets if there is something wrong with the Fireworks show. We will refund all tickets if the Fireworks are cancelled by the city.   Can I update my registration information? Yes - at any time on this website or write us at [email protected]   Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? Yes, anyone who has a paid ticket - printed or eletronic - can board the boat   Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? Yes - see above.     FAQs   What's the refund policy? 50% refunds after November 30th, 2022 and no refund after December 15th. We have no control over the San Francisco Fireworks, so we do not refund tickets if there is a lot of fog during the Fireworks show. We will refund all tickets if the Fireworks are cancelled by the city.
