If you have aspiring little entrepeneurs like I do, have them work on some goods this month and set up a little booth at our kid's holiday market! The items don't need to be holiday themed, just whatever they are inspired to make. My girls are making some crafts and baked goods. This will be a great opportunity for kids to practice working towards a goal, sharpen math/money skills, and maybe do some holiday shopping for family!
The cost will be 10$ per family (to set up a booth) free to come and shop of course. This will go towards paying for the space. Tables and chairs will be provided.
Invite friends and family to come support your kids' businesses!
Cash only so kids can practice giving change. I'll have some extra ones around in case anyone needs extra change but try to have a little bit around for your booth.
You can enter the space through the front door on Main Ave (right next to the door to Mint & Basil) OR up the stairs in the alley and in the back door- either way, there are quite a few steps so keep this in mind if inviting Grandma & Grandpa- someone might need to be available to help them up if stairs are an issue.
I think we have room for around 15 families- buy a ticket through eventbrite to reserve your space and let me know how many kids you have that are setting items up to sell- I'll make sure you have a bigger table if needed.
