He is the current president of AAF Brimingham, Brimingham. Dr. Haun helped start the First Friday Mentors program, which lead to the creation of the AAF District 7 Mighty Mentors Podcast with co-host Anna Bain. Dr. Haun recently received a top faculty paper award at the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication national conference and is the recipient of the AAF District 7 Donald G. Hileman Teaching Award. Anna Bain, originally from Tampa, FL, is now residing in the Birmingham area. She has been part of the AAF Birmingham Chapter since she was a student at Samford University where she studied Journalism Mass Communication with a concentration in Advertising. Her involvement in AAF has grown from being a committee member to her current role as the Director of Student Affairs for the Birmingham Chapter. AAF has impacted the trajectory of her career and further ignited her passion for helping students just as members mentored her during such a pivotal time. As her career in marketing and advertising has developed, she hopes to continue to be a lifelong learner and cultivate her craft. As co-host of the MIghty Mentors podcast, she loves to bring a voice to the questions that many students want answered but may be too nervous to ask. Mentorship is a huge passion of Anna's, and this has become a platform that she is thankful to share it on while supporting the organization that has helped her gain so many mentors. Britain Miethe has been with The Alderman Group for almost a decade. He began as a junior copywriter and has worked his way up to partner. He has worked with several international nonprofits, led the Save Space Camp campaign, won multiple Addy awards, and had his work featured in CNN, Forbes, NPR, and BBC. He is perhaps most proud of being named Inman Street Coffee Shop Band of the Year in 2014. Ryan Faricellii has more than 20 years experience in communications and marketing, with a unique career path that began in film school and has included more than a decade of social media and crisis communication for a multi-billion-dollar healthcare corporation. He is currently senior content strategist at The Alderman Group and produces several podcasts, including Dare to Explore for the US Space and Rocket Center Foundation. He is sad he has never been named Inman Street Coffee Shop Band of the Year.
