Get Off The Couch is a call to action, a public service announcement for us all to heal and to encourage others to do the same. We are often aware that healing is needed but many times don't have the tools or know the steps to begin our process. GOTC is a touring community based workshop and conversation about healing facilitated by mental health first aider, Chris James and friends. The event will consist of the following: - Book Signing for "GET UP, GET OUT & GET SOME HEALING" - Live Performances - Engaging Group Writing - Defining Mental Health & Illness - Self Care & Tools to Heal - Emotional Literacy - Poetry Writing Session - Q&A w/ Experts
