Maintenance Grounds Worker *Responsible for trash maintenance and seasonal work such as lawn mowing, and snow removal/salting. *A Ground/Maintenance Worker performs a variety of tasks both inside and outside focusing around maintaining our properties and ensuring the overall appearance and quality of the property. This will include prioritizing and processing work orders which may include both urgent and routine maintenance of property/land, buildings, sidewalks, landscaping etc. *In this role, it is also responsible to provide outstanding customer service to our residents and provide well-timed and proactive property maintenance. A qualified candidate will take pride in a job well done and will possess the skills necessary to maintain, repair or replace, including but not limited to light plumbing, carpentry, and basic electrical repairs to keep our buildings and apartments functioning properly. *The ideal candidate for this position will have strong landscaping skills, teamwork skills, good attention to detail, and will be flexible as well as tolerant of potential sudden changes. It will also be important to have excellent time management and organizational skills, good customer service, and a positive team-oriented attitude. Qualification Requirements: The requirements listed below are representative. -Minimum High school diploma or GED -License/Certification - Driver's License -Ability to speak, read and write in English -Possess a truck and general maintenance tools needed for the job -One or more years of grounds maintenance experience. -Excellent attention to detail with good organizational skills -Carry a cell phone during business hours -Ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner; both verbally and in writing -Ability to complete company training requirements for this position within predetermined deadlines and attend other training sessions as required -This job requires exerting up to 75 lbs. occasionally and 25 to 50 lbs. frequently Typical Weekly Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift - Monday - Friday; 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Vacation Bonus-potential Salary: Based upon Experience Benefits: Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Schedule: 8-hour shift Monday to Friday Please reply or call to for information -- Send your resume to help expedite the process!
