Fireplace Installer Fireplace Superstore needs a person good with their hands to act as a crew member installing wood and gas fireplaces, wood and gas inserts, wood and gas stoves, etc. A work day generally includes setting up prefabricated fireplace units and installing appropriate venting through roof or side wall. Our Installers also will install some gas lines and do a little bit of electrical wiring, crews will also do some framing and basic finish work. Basic home remodeler or handyman skills and knowledge as well as some knowledge of construction and HVAC, we will train to specific needs of the job. Comfort and skills working on roofs is a must as well as ability to work outdoors year round. Bilingual Spanish/English would also be a huge plus. Knowledge of basic hand tools as well as power tools will be necessary. You need to know a skill saw from a sawzall and be able to read a tape measure. Our lead installers will train in the specific needs of both products and installation requirements. We are a 40 plus year old, well established company with great reputation. Year round work with good pay and benefits. Applicants must have a good driving record with no current SR22. Should be a people person who relates well with fellow staff and customers. A self-starter who wants to grow with the company. Starting pay is $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, based on starting skills and experience. $35,000 to $39,000 plus benefits. Paid vacation and holidays.
